Great experience with GBC on constructing our house. They went above and beyond to build our beautiful home. Roger and I highly recommend this builder!
We had met the team at Grand Bay about 2 years before we had them build our house in The Retreat. We visited several of their projects along 30A and became convinced that we wanted them for our project as well. I am sure it wasn't the easiest build - Hurricane Michael and COVID played havoc with all of the subs just after we broke ground and we were, as Chris delicately phrased it, "more involved than 99% of home owners" throughout the process. Grand Bay Construction started as our preferred general contractor as far back as 2010, though they started working directly for/with me in 2015. They are an honest, trustworthy, and highly-skilled group. Chris Burch, Matt Ellington, and all their crews always go far and beyond what is needed.
Five Star honesty and integrity right up there with proper application of skills, compliance with specifications, and efficiency in job performance. I had the pleasure of awarding GBC its first commercial contract back around 2010, a tenant finish remodel. Fantastic job, which prompted the management at Silver Sands Factory Stores to direct other subsequent tenant build-out jobs to them. At my restaurant in Miramar Beach I had a sudden need to remove and replace a whole wall storage unit. Chris and his team came in quickly and was able to reinstall our failed shelving and make it look like it never happened.
