wish it was closer Although I wish it was closer we enjoy the drive through Granville to visit the animals and get ice cream. The animals appear well taken care of and the ice cream is awesome.
Scoop Enjoy animals and homemade ice cream at the Gran-Val Scoop. There is a petting zoo for the kiddies and is a working farm. The moose tracks ice cream is the best! You can purchase half gallons to take home as well.
Great ice cream The Gran-Val Scoop makes their own ice cream. They use only fresh milk and cream from their own cows! They also have a few small animals on the premises for the kids to pet and feed.
Ice Cream and Animals A nice drive to Granville to get delicious homemade ice cream. Many, Many flavors. Enjoy your ice cream while visiting the animals. You can purchase food especially for the animals for 25 cents. The staff is very friendly and right there to serve you the minute you walk in the store.
Gran-Val Scoop Granville, MA It's very fun to pet and feed the animals and then (after washing your hands!) go in and look at the wide selection of flavors for ice cream. It's also a very nice setting. Written by a 9-year-old chocolate freak.
Great for Kids Especially fun for young kids who love to see/pet/feed the cows, llama, sheep, goats, rabbits and chickens. Great ice cream too. A fun afternoon excursion through the countryside.
Great for kids Who can beat homemade ice cream and a petting zoo for young children? My kids love to go here in the summer time. It's fun to look at the cows too! So that's where the ice cream comes from . . .
Nothing beats it. Great homemade ice cream, super friendly people, a gorgeous drive to get there, and a petting zoo. It doesn't get any better than this place! Check out the Granville General Store and get some of their cheddar cheese while you're there! It's amazing.
