Buffalonians turn to the Mora Family for authentic Mexican cuisine where recipes date back 100 years and have been passed down for generations. Complimentary chips and homemade salsa tantalize your tastebuds. Main dishes include an assortment of meat, cheese or seafood enchiladas, chimichangas and burritos. The salsa, guacamole, and a line of frozen foods are available for takeout. The original restaurant opened on Niagara Street in 1980, but a fire closed it down in 1996. This new location offers more tables, brightly paint... read more

Really fantastic food. Simply delicious and consistent. Also great servers. Such a nice atmosphere with fun people. Highly recommended!
I thought I already left a review years ago. Looks like I didn't! We love this place, I have been going there for at least 10 years or so. My husband is from the Southwest and goes crazy for their green chile sauce. It reminds him of home. We even had our engagement party there. All of our guests still talk about how yummy it was and go there now themselves. The staff always treat us like family, and my inlaws loved it when they came for a visit last Summer. I could go for a Cadillac margarita right now, but sadly I'm at wor... read more
We were going to eat at Lloyd’s tonight, but decided to go to Gramma Mora’s instead, huge mistake. We got the nachos supreme, it came with microwaved shredded cheese, about 3 diced tomatoes, 2 olives, a few slices of lettuce, no sour cream and the chips were beyond salty. Everything was just okay, nothing was great, and definitely not authentic Mexican. It was an up charge to get shredded cheddar cheese for tacos, and neither tacos or burritos come with sour cream. The server was friendly but not around enough and the restau... read more
Only thing good was the service ... margaritas tasted like soda water, tacos plain and over cooked just to start ...
I was very happy how friendly and welcoming the staff was, they even brought my puppies fresh water to drink!! We’ve been coming here for years, just for drinks. But we will be coming more often for dinner!!! Comes highly recommended!
love the street tacos..great toppings to pick from too! can't go wrong here.
Love the frozen burritos our friend brings every 4th of July!!!
I know quite a few people that go here, so thought I'd give it a try. Sadly that was a mistake, food was cold, beef dried out and dark looking, attempted to eat it, and just could not, was awful. I have never in my life had the worst Mexican food ever, it was so sad, and it was mine, my sisters and niece's. She said people love our food! I'm guessing because they're drunk and don't know any better... hmmm No thank you, never again.
Stopped in for lunch and it was pretty dead. The server was not very pleasant. We ordered Margaritas and she told us "there is no lunch bartender and I'm not allowed behind the bar." Ok - we got that. Yet when we were leaving, she WAS behind the bar mixing drinks. I said "I thought the bar wasn't open?" She said "Oh I'm only making some vodka drinks? Curious! My taco salad was very good. She came by our table like three times looking for us to pay the bill and we were just hanging around chatting for a bit. There was like no... read more
