Bad Doctor very irresponsible I will not recommend her. When I started going to her she asked me to get my medical history record from my prior doctor that my is in NY. I contacted my NY doctors office and asked them to send Dr. Frederiks my medical records and a couple of they later I was notified by them that they had sent them. Then after I contacted her office staff and asked if they had received them and was told yes we have received your medical records. HORRIBLE!!!
No, would not recommend. This was the most horrifying experience for my 86yr old mother. Did not even attempt to have a initial bonding or personal get to know conversation as becoming ones primary care. This dr lacks empathy and compassion, has hateful demeanor. Terrible bedside manners and speaks as to assure authority. On very first visit without seeing med.records insisted a treatment done through a specialist wasn’t needed!! Psychic much??! Deserves NO stars.
I changed to Dr Grainger in January 2020 and had a couple of routine office visits. I was hospitalized with a GI bleed in December and Dr Grainger came in three times to see me. He was fully informed about what the GI doc had found and consulted with the GI doc, my cardiologist and my oncologist to coordinate medication changes. Very well done.
After going to Dr. Frederik for several years, I finally changed doctors today. She is the most unempathetic and ill-informed physician I have ever known. Today she got me mixed up with another patient. Several years ago she gave me a diagnosis for a condition that I later learned I do not have. She runs her practice like a Medicare mill: take this test, do this, and don't ask me any hard questions and repeat these instructions every six months and/or every two years. It seems that I am not the only victim of the very masculine and aggressive office manager. She is THE nastiest person in Ocala. Because I was a victim of identity theft I cover part of my d.l. number. I asked to not have it uncovered. When the manager heard this she was on the conversation ready for a fight. Almost I wanted was an explanation and assurances to my privacy. Instead she took my card out of the receptionists hand and informed.me that I will.not be seen by the doctor.
