Grafton Base Hospital management is a woeful trip into pre historic working practices such as do as you are told, do not defy management. If you use your own initiative, you are in for a shock. THAT is why it is agency loaded at this time, costing a fortune in wages. Senior staff being forced to do, what they have never done. That creates safety issues and staffing problems with staff getting blamed for admins poor management. It is a disgraceful state of affairs under one person who has ruled. Time to retire.

My husband is recovering from cataract surgery - first eye! What a wonderful and efficient experience! Everything was so well coordinated from the Pre-op consultation to the Surgery twelve days later - today. Even the drop-off and pick-up were streamlined. A big thanks to the staff, the surgeon, and the Public Health System.

Seen a doctor whom was rude in emergency i came in with a swollen arm from fall..The documents doctor said you shouldn't be here.. So I left.. The next morning I went back up to be reviewed with another GP..And I had a broken wrist.. Not happy

I recently had to visit a gravely ill friend in Emergency at Grafton Base Hospital. Without the kindness of the staff the experience would have been so much worse. They were marvelous, kind, sympathetic. even while they were run off their feet with patients they had time for a distressed old man. Thank you.
