Carpet was frayed, bathroom door was damaged on the bottom from shower water (there isn't a complete shower door so it's partially open!) Pretty dumb design considering the water damage. Bed and pillow were very comfortable. Front desk clerk appeared to be a college student with no vested interest in his job or guests. Then, when you get on the elevator and press the button for your floor, it doesn't move unless you pass your room key card over a sensor. Rooms are themed and cute. Love the decor. We stayed in a double suite and each room had its own thermostat and TV. The sofa bed mattress was really thin, but our teens didn't care. Excellent location half a block from the green line East Bank station. But the standout on our trip was Mickey in the Beacon bar/restaurant. We got back late from a concert and he absolutely spoiled us with late night snacks, staying open laye to ensure we had everything we needed.
