We've had a very good experience at GIAL. The professors and staff are very caring and have an overwhelming amount of first hand experience working with their fields of study. While the courses are certainly academically demanding, they are equally rewarding in what is gained from them. It's a school of linguistics, but what you learn here is so much more than that. This is a great place to train for hands-on fieldwork.
