Don't expect your security deposit back. Even if you're a great tenant. Landlord ROBBED me of hundreds of dollars. I deep cleaned the whole apartment after living there for only 9 months. Yet was charged for another "bathroom cleaning" and "stove cleaning" and "replacement of air conditioning treys" even though we never used the air conditioning ONCE! Don't be like me and walk away - SUE THE LANDLORD IF THIS HAPPENS AGAIN to you.
The stay was generally fine. The apartment wasn't as clean as it should have been when we first moved in. We had to vacuum the carpet multiple times and shampoo cleaned it even before started living there. There was some areas in the cabinet with food particles. The stove was caked with grease. When we moved out, we cleaned the apartment thoroughly, vacuumed and shampooed the carpet. We never had a pet and kept it clean on a regular basis.
