This was such a terrible experience I am more traumatized than when I started. Only a couple counselors make the effort and show care but otherwise forget about it. I suffer from bpd and one of the main symptoms is suicidal ideation. I never once said I was seriously suicidal, attempted, or had a plan.I mentioned wanting to go to inpatient and was shot down. Gracepoint was aware of my mental health history, including suicidal ideation, during my intake process. Despite this, I was made to wait an entire week before being informed that I could not be admitted into their program due to marijuana use. If this was a disqualifying factor, it should have been addressed during the initial intake — not a week later, especially given the seriousness of my mental health concerns. I’m rating this five stars because otherwise, i fear people may not see this important information. I went to Grace Point mid-last year for php. I loved Kara and the people in my group, but the psychiatrist they had on their team was below mediocre. Jessica Miglin was not only condescending and rude, but she was reckless.
