I had a fairly anxiety-free out-of-state move thanks to Graceful Transitions. Everything in my house was labeled according to its final destination: things that would come to my new home; things that would go later in an "heirloom" shipment to my daughter across country; items to be either sold at auction or donated; stuff to be trashed. Graceful Transitions moved me from one apartment in my retirement community to another. Our mission statement was, “Move Carol like a princess.” They did! Lovely, kind people worked so hard to make the move easy on me. I will recommend them to anyone for any kind of move. They rock!
This is a top-notch moving company. FTR, I used to live 3 hours away from them, so it was a long-distance move, ie more opportunities for things to technically go wrong. I got a quote from a couple of moving companies, and they were all on par. I chose Graceful Transitions in the end based on their willingness to come to me for an estimate, and very responsive and clear communication. Wonderful! I can not say enough great things about Sharyn and the team that helped my parents transition from their home of 55 years to independent living. They packed and unpacked their "treasures" like it was their own. They treated them with respect and realized that this is a huge change for my parents. They lived and loved their home for 55+years.
