I had to remove my relative asap. She, the owner demanded after my husband passed that I purchase a Hoya Lyft and a geri geri chair for my mom I found out from Office of Healthcare Quality that you aren't supposed to ask a family to buy those items. She owns the facility so she is suppose to have them already. She is rude and doesn't know how to talk to family or her staff. They mix up the residents clothes and toiletries with other residents.
Put your love one here if you’re not going to check on them on a regular basis. If you call to ask a question about your loved ones care, you are labeled as complaining and combative then your love one is evicted. How can you call it a memory care facility when you can’t handle someone with Alzheimer’s?!
