2 1/2 years later, I’m still haunted by my choice to use Grace Hospice for my mother. They discontinued the use of her bronchodilator, telling me that morphine would do the same thing. It did not. It was clearly a financial decision on their part. She died less than a week after going on hospice and then making these changes to her meds. Nobody was expecting this rapid of a decline.
