Graces funeral home cremated my brothers body before allowing my mother to view it. Then after the fact lied about why she didn't let her see him. Which was fabricated lies about the condition of his body... we know how long it was for him to be found and that was not it miss. graces funeral home owes my mother an apology. If they didn't want my mom to view his body tell the truth don't make up your own narrative. And when she went up there they put her out wouldn't even explain the lie. Not all heroes wear capes. Not all angels show their wings. I can not begin to express my gratitude and how professional the team at Grace funeral home has been during this time. I just received my mother's remains, and instead of some stupid black plastic box that reflects our grief,I was surprised with a beautiful wooden box. Truly the best service I have received through losing my father, my wife, my daughter, and now, finally my mommy. Thank you all. Truly, thank you.
The journey of dealing with a loved ones death is a difficult road and no one can take the pain however, Grace staff took as much of the mundane parts of the business side and preparations as they could. This has made the road a little less heavy. Everyone we came in contact with was exceptional. The care shown by Grace Funeral Home’s staff was amazing. In particular, Lance Taylor was exceedingly considerate, thoughtful, and attentive to each of us as we maneuvered through a difficult time. Another aspect we had not considered was the after care program offered by Grace where Kathy Mills helped with estate information. Grace Funeral Home in Victoria has guided us through 3 of our parents’ funerals and I would highly recommend Grace to anyone. Charlie you and your staff are awesome!
