If you have medical trauma, I do not suggest going here. Dr. Evins is cold and clipped and it doesn't feel like she actually listens to what the problem is. It does not seem like she is open to patients asking questions about her suggestions. I've been to this office a few times and had issues every time, including extremely long wait time (after an hour I finally just walked out without even seeing the dr).

I saw Dr. Evins years ago for a Pap smear (probably 2017 or ‘18). I wasn’t able to fully grasp how awful my experience was until more recently (I’ve seeming a pelvic floor PT which has been so healing and helpful). I’m sure Dr. Evins is a good person and is just working within the scope of what she knows but the comments of her coming off cold or abrupt are accurate. I've been a patient with Dr. Evins for many years and have had mostly good experiences. I recently was approved for Medicaid, and when I called the office to give them my ID number, I was told that they do not accept Medicaid, even though their info here on Google says that they do. Disappointing, as I now have to find a new dr. after 15+ years. Just a warning to anyone who is looking for a GYN that takes Medicaid.
