Not impressed — felt like a scam after reading the reviews. I was planning to visit this place, but after reading multiple reviews, I’ve completely changed my mind. It seems like they overcharge customers and recommend unnecessary repairs just to make money. Too many people have shared similar experiences, which makes me feel like this business can’t be trusted. Definitely not going to risk taking my truck here.
An Honest and Independent opinion from me, two different mechanics independently involved into doing works on truck and 2 other clientele of G&R maintenance and more particularly Anthony's meticulous works. 1. Really not advise, unless you have a lot of money to spend. A really BAD & WORST service provider in MELBOURNE!!! We sent a truck there for 2 months, and they keep DIGGING and DISSAMBLING your trucks to find out more parts to charge! their labor fee is freaking high and even park your truck/car at illegal parking lot and caused infringement.
This is a premeditated fraud company. I made an appointment for my truck to do RWC, they gived me $800 bill and two days later they said I need to pay them a extra $1500 for employ fees! WTH? Then they gave me a another bill with $12,000 because they said that all the parts needed to be replaced. They also said I would not be able to get the RWC that if I didn't replace the accessories, and my truck would be seized if I didn't pay the bill. DO NOT COME HERE! IT'S A WAST OF MONEY, TIME AND IT'S A HUGE SCAM!
Update to my experience. Well, when i took it to other closely known mechanic, his diagnosis were similar to G & R except 1 V-stay bushesh (1st Drive) which has date on it changed on November 2024. quite new, but i consider due to grease all over it could be visibly deceptive.
