I purchased a Garmin power cable from GPS City through Amazon on 04-02-2025. I received the cable on 04-19-2025 and the cable was cut in half. There was a note in the box stating the cable was returned from a previous customer. Amazon told that they would ship a replacement cable but I would not get it until 05-01-2025, even though I could buy a new one from their site and have it on 04-23-2025. 1/5 **Terrible Experience - Unreasonable Restocking Fee and Poor Packaging!** I returned my item to GPS CITY completely unopened and brand new, only to be charged an outrageous $120 restocking fee! They claimed the box edges were damaged, making it "unsellable." Funny enough, they shipped it to me in a flimsy plastic bag with no protection, so any damage was clearly their own doing. HEED THE WARNINGS! Do not purchase directly from this seller. Undisclosed restocking fees of 10-50% on unopened products even in direct violation of Amazon’s return policy on the particular item in this case - “Watches”. This information, along with supporting documents were provided to the seller but they ignore the policy tell you refer your complaint to Amazon only. I tried to order from them online. The details aren't very interesting but it was not a good experience.
Avoid at all costs. Not only do they not stand behind their product, they have the rudest customer service I ever experienced. My first encounter was through Amazon where they allegedly sent a Garmin fishfinder cover that never got here. They would not even discuss the matter. Amazon provided a refund. I then ordered two additional covers based on GPS City's advice. They arrived but one would not fit.
