Unfortunately need to echo other recent reviews (almost to a tee) that I had extreme sensitivity in my teeth after getting work done here that wouldn’t go away. I was also told I had five cavities and after getting them “fixed” I couldn’t eat crunchy or cold foods without pain, had to come back multiple times, and eventually just went elsewhere as it was not improving. I also hate to leave this but I wish I was warned too. The front desk people are great though!
I hate that I have to leave this review but I would want someone to warn me too.... I went in for routine dental care, totally fine and now I have regular pain with chewing. Details - I went in for routine care and was told I had 5 cavities that needed to be filled. This is highly doubtful and in retrospect I realize I could have probably done a wait and monitor. I’ve started going here at the beginning of this year. My hygienist Vicky is super sweet and helpful. She gives me tips to maintain my dental health at home and has been helping me fight my gum disease! Thank you Vicky!
During the time I went to Governors Park, I was always uneasy with the level of care I received. In a word, it felt slipshod. The cleanings were not what I was used to at other dentists, and the exams felt cursory. Even after I pointed out areas of concern, I was told they were fine. I decided to go to another dentist, who found some serious issues with my teeth. He showed me long-standing cavities as well as crown degradations. I'm unhappy that my teeth got progressively worse at Governors Park, and I can't recommend them.
Easy to schedule, text and get in! The staff are professional and friendly. They don’t try to oversell you on products and keep it straight forward to keep your teeth cared for.
