75% of my property taxes go to those failing public schools. I HOME SCHOOL!! I don't want to pay for those places- my kid can't even play sports there! In addition everyone knows this governor can afford his medical needs. What about those of us who cannot? I'm a widow, not covered by health care, so I want to explore natural treatments. That includes Marijuana. Gov Abbott has already decided people don't deserve to make their own choices.
I have send messages to you several times asking about assistance for homeowners waiting for a hearing for disability. Never a response. Why?. Am I as a taxpayer and voter not important enough unless it is election time? Not even an acknowledgement of messages. Shame on you
If you cared anything about the children or the people in Texas you would come up with creative ways of how to help those children that are in need versus putting them in prison to help the big corporations that you are connected too!
I grieve for all those who will lose family members and loved ones, because you focus on increasing the availability and access to guns while reducing restrictions or controls to keep them out of the hands of those who will kill innocents with them. I am a teacher and my husband is a state employee in the state of Texas. We don't pay into Social Security; we pay into OUR pension. The Texas pension system for public employees replaces Social Security -\-\ that's why the word "pension" misleads a lot of people. We don't get both. We are not the enemy. We are not the problem. Would like to know what will be done to fix the Child Support System. The OAG's office has been over my case since 2000 the father is $80k behind and he has yet to be held accountable. I have been in court with him many many times and he is allowed to walk out everytime with no results for me. WHAT WILL IT TAKE TO GET THIS MATTER FIXED??
Dear Governor, as a Conservative-republican, christian, and advocate for citizens bear arms, i have a great concern for lowering the requirements to obtain conceal handgun license or to purchase a fire arm.
