Things have been very pleasant here since I moved in. The staff have been very accommodating, pleasant and prompt with everything. The apartment is nice and was very clean on move in date. The residents have been a pleasure to get acquainted with as well. They do a great job of maintaining the property to keep it looking nice. The location is extremely convenient for travel to Baltimore, Annapolis, D.C. and NOVA. Definitely recommend Governor's Green Apartments,
was a great community. Quiet and respectful. New owners came about 3 years ago and changed things. It's going way downhill. They deny everything you request. They don't fix or replace anything in a timely manor. When they do fix something its the most short cut way to fix whatever issue you had and it breaks again. They won't work with you at all when you have a concern but they demand EVERYTHING upfront. The new owners did not respect ANY of the agreements tenants already had made when moving in. Living here has been a constant headache. Maintenance is extremely slow & I have to follow up by email (to the property manager) just to get basic requests acknowledged, and even then it can take time. When someone finally shows up, the work is rushed and sloppy. I often have to email again just to get the repairs repaired. For example, they installed a new faucet and left broken knobs and a messy, unfinished area around the base (photo attached). How that passed as acceptable is beyond me. I just moved around here this is why you shouldn't rent people around here just drop their trash anywhere it smells around here because people leaving mountain of trash outside of dumpster area not in it because of that this place have rats you know Ben the rat what making it worse this week 100 degrees weather no A/C
I've enjoyed my time here at Governor Green. The property has held up well and I've had no major issues. I recommend this property as an affordable and safe place to live. However the character requirement for this submission is frustrating.
