A few years ago, I was unsatisfied with another well known tax firm and came to The Original Tax Center. There I received excellent service and the suggestion that I bring the previous year's tax information in for him to review. Mr. Bacas found considerably more in deductions and sent in an adjusted tax statement for me adding about $800 more in tax refunds. I have been going to them since and am exceedingly pleased with their service and professionalism.
I completely agree with Ling San -- I had terrible, unprofessional service here and will not be returning. My preparer had more questions (about how to file my taxes) than answers. I am having my taxes reviewed by a friend of the family who is a CPA -- in the meantime I have already received a letter from DC Treasury saying I owe them more money than what was calculated on my return. I do not recommend this place in the slightest.
