My inspiration and innate joy for food and cooking comes from my childhood growing up in the villages of northern Germany around Hamburg. Surrounded with my mother and aunts in the kitchen, I watched as they created the most fabulous desserts and unintentionally fostered my own passion for cooking. If you are a big man who likes big food and big beer and big tables - this is your place. Getting a seat is hard - but just stand by the bar and drink until a table opens up. I had breaded and friend pork chop here that was several times bigger than my head and perfectly cooked.
