Really enjoyed lunch at Gourmand Market! The tomato basil soup was so good and they brought us a surprise treat at the bar. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
This market offers a comfortable dining environment. The espresso, made with Nightswim beans, provided a standard experience. The deli primarily features Boar's Head meats. The overall atmosphere seems designed for those who wish to enjoy a meal on-site rather than those seeking a quick grab-and-go.
I stopped here the other day to check it out but they were closed so I left within 10 minutes. What's worse is that, despite claiming parking was free for the first three hours, I was charged anyways. This is the 2nd time and 2nd property where I've been ripped off by the parking management company that runs the deck for Gourmand and I regrettably will not return, if I have to face unknown parking fees because their systems fail to properly capture the time of vehicle exits. Gourmand Mkt in SouthPark, Charlotte, is an absolute gem. It’s the cutest little market tucked in the ground floor of an apartment building neighborhood, where you can shop for specialty goods and grab a bite. I sat in there and worked for a few hours. The vibe is stylish but cozy, and their charcuterie board was just perfect. Very good blue cheese. Whether you’re stocking up on gourmet finds or just hanging out, this place is a must-visit. Loved it!
