I have visited Goulds three times now over the last two weeks. However, I have to say, the last time I was truly impressed. One of the naturopaths spent a huge amount of time with me to make up a tincture. The care, attention, and understanding that she displayed in asking me numerous questions to get a full-rounded picture to help with a six-week lagging cough and the inability to get well was just an amazing amount of time to spend with someone. Legend place to find good alternative medications
Multiple hassles with Goulds over the 18 months of consultations. The 2 stars are for naturopaths' ability to understand microbiome results (credit where it is due). However, their ability to take into account my pre-existing/genetic conditions was disappointing. Kate R, former head naturopath ($215 per 30 mins) was somewhat jaded and disinterested as a practitioner. Though paying a premium fee, initial consult felt very rushed via Zoom…very rushed and in the end was completely unclear on what was happening, wasn’t given clarity on what supplements I should discontinue, foods to eat etc…had to follow up via email about this. Unimpressed :(
The most gorgeous little store! the staff are very helpful. I don’t live in tassie but I bought a tea over a year ago that they made up for me because i suffer from terrible period pains and it absolutely changed my life. I came back this year to buy some more, It works very well :)
