Saw 'Dr' Goetteinger for an ejaculatory issue. He couldn't care less, basically said why do I need it I'm not going to have kids in my 50's. After pressing he finally barely did some physical exam. Prescribed 2 ultrasounds. 5 weeks later I'm still waiting for the results. I've left 3 messages. WORST DOCTOR EVER

Dr. GOTTENGER RUINED MY LIFE!HE PERFORMED SURGERY ON ME, AND IT DID NOT GO WELL.HE LIED ABOUT THE LENGTH OF MY UTERERS AND GAVE ME A STOMA TOO LARGE FOR ANY UROSTOMY POUCHES. SHORTLY AFTER THE SURGERY MY BOWEL PROLAPSED AND WHEN I CALLED HIM, HE DID NOT WANT TO SEE THE DAMAGE HE'D DONE. HE JUST PUT HIS NURSE ON THE PHONE TO ASK, 'WHAT INSURANCE DID I HAVE?' THAT WAS SHORTLY AFTER HE LEFT THE VA AND STARTED TO PRACTICE AT YOUR UROLOGY! HE IS NO LONGRR THERE!THE DAMAGE HE DID TO ME RESULTING IN THE VA UPING MY DISABILITY RATIN... read more
Dr. Gottenger has helped me enormously in my struggle with a frequent urethral stricture and resulting scarring. Recently he provided me with a novel minimally invasive procedure, Optilume (involves an anti-cell growth drug, paclitaxel, via a balloon). While results are too early to conclude, I appreciated the vision and pursuit of excellence, shown by this doctor.
HE WAS SMART, PATIENT AND LISTENED. WAS HAVING BLADDER ISSUES AND HE PATIENTLY LISTENED, ANSWERED ALL QUESTIONS AND NOW HAS ME ON MEDICATION THAT IS ACTUALLY HELPING ME WITH MY ISSUES. STAFF WAS DOWN TO EARTH AND KIND. SO GLAD I FOUND HIM!!!!
Don't know why anyone would say the ladies out front are rude. Everyone was polite, professional and friendly. Friend, the clinical manager was one of the nicest people I've ever met. Same goes for Dr Gottenger. He was very patient with me and explained everything in detail. I highly recommend him
Never had a visit because the ladies at the front desk are extremely rude. They told my husband he’d have to pay $200. He could be a great doctor, but we never found out. He even called the insurance while standing there and they told them he should only be paying a$45 co pay. They wouldn’t listen.We went somewhere else and everything else went smoothly.
He removed stones in my urinary bladder and trimmed my prostrate so now I can urinate with no problem. All this with no great pain as an outpatient.
I love Dr.Gottenger! He performed Greenlight prostate surgery on me, outcome was terrific, can now again urinate like when I was 20 years old (70 now). Very highly recommended, A+++ in my book.
