Very positive. During the ordering process questions were answered accurately and quickly. The cabinets arrived when promised, they were packed extremely well. We are very pleased with the cabinets - great value!
This has probably got to be the best furniture on the planet for the money
I've gotten most of my furniture at various Gothic Cabinet Crafts stores over the years, but want to single out this store for their service. When I had a problem with my newly-bought futon (because I had been up all night the night before and didn't remember how to return it to the sofa position), one of the staff came over and showed me how to do it again. If I need furniture, my first action is to see if Gothic has it.
The cabinets arrived as expected, when expected. The quality was good - the finish was darker than depicted on the website. But the construction was solid, and overall I'm happy with them.
We bought a really nice platform bed with storage drawers underneath for our son. The bed is made of plywood with a birch veneer over it. It's quite sturdy and if you don't want it stained the price is very reasonable. Staining it costs over a hundred dollars. But the bed is gorgeous and he's very happy with it. I would definitely shop there again.

I love furniture that is really made from wood, so we went to Gothic to get my son a Captain's Bed. We got it several years ago and it still looks brand new. It's made of real wood and is extremely heavy. It was unfinished and we had to pay extra to have it finished in the shade we wanted. The bed was too big to fit up our stairs, and I didn't know what I was going to do, but they people who delivered it cut it in half and put it back together in my son's room. I have been to various gothic cabinet furniture stores and have been pleased with what they have to offer me as far as stock items go.. the sales people are very helpful and always try to give you the very best prices. as per custom pieces long ago i bought my first house and wanted all custom furniture i went to the store on 95th street and broadway (now closed) and met a gentleman named tony. he was quite helpful and delivered over $5000 worth of maple/mahogany wall units and office furniture within a good amount of time w... read more
