I inherited a new 2025 Ford Maverick from my deceased father-in-law. The truck is up for its first oil change at 5,000 miles. I asked if the first oil change would be covered by Ford. I suppose they don't want to introduce me to their maintenance department and build a relationship. Not even an intro first time oil change. I know a great independent mechanic I can start going to tomorrow. Sad. Ford sad. Rachelle, I think Ford could do better.

We had a difficult and stressful situation when our vehicle broke down 50 miles from our local dealer, Gosch Ford, and had to be towed there. What started out as a nightmare was made so much better by excellent communication and responsiveness from the Service Manager, Rachelle Long, and our Service Advisor, Chris Vecchi. Writers are great but the mechanics are hit and miss. You will almost always have a day or 2 lead time until your vehicle is seen for repairs and hope Parts are available. Even normal maintenance parts. Others have said lack of communication which internally is very apparrnt. With the amount of fords here, this shop should easily be twice the size. Although labor os overpriced its probably the going rate
