Gorilla Barbeque LLC was officially established in 2006 by two native Pacifica residents: Rich Bacchi and Jeff Greathouse. We will be open Monday, October 10th on Columbus Day and we will also be open Monday, October 31st on Halloween! We hope to see you soon. Please be aware that we often sell out prior to our 8:00pm closing time. If you are traveling a distance to see us, please be sure to call ahead for availability. We were drawn by curiosity after seeing it featured on a Food Network show. And wanting to hike the Mori Point hiking trails. Well worth the drive from the east bay! Food was great and in abundance. Even the veggie plate was very good! Very friendly staff. No tables. But as directed by a worker, there's a real nice beach just 3 lights south! �

I am from a state in the southeast that is BBQ heaven and when I moved to California I thought my days of very good BBQ were numbered. Until I stopped at the railcar. Exceptional BBQ Brisket and spicey sausage. I now drive from Capitola once a week to treat myself. I recommend the mac and cheese side as it goes with everything. So glad when I heard it opened back up.

I love their pork spare ribs. I usually get a two meat plate with all ribs. They come with sauce on the side which I prefer. The sauce is a vinegar base.. not sweet but delicious. The vinegar really cuts the richness of the spare ribs. The ribs have great bark on them. My wife loves the pulled pork and my daughter does the brisket. I am an avid BBQer, I don't bother with most BBQ places in the Bay but Gorilla BBQ is the real deal. #porkrules
