Woodward is a great place to have fun in the snow and enjoy activities like tubing and other ice and winter experiences. It’s a fun option for friends, families, or couples, and we had a really enjoyable time. Extremely disappointing experience at Woodward Skatepark during our visit from 6–8 pm on 8/12. What should have been a fun, family-friendly outing ended with a little girl in tears because of an employee who seemed more focused on exercising authority than handling the situation with basic kindness or professionalism, with only 10 minutes left in the time we had paid for. - which is extremely overpriced for young kids admissions. Absolute scam. An hour after I got here they say they saw lighting and shut the whole mountain down. Said they would think about opening again in 30 minutes. 2 hours later there hasn't been any lightning in the sky, the weather app doesn't say anything about storms. It hasn't rained at all, it was literally just cloudy. The employees are irritated when you ask what the status is and no even came outside to look for an hour long stretch. No refund of course. I'd recommend finding somewhere else to mountain bike.
