I contacted Gore’s and asked for details on the light blue 1985 Mercedes 380SL they have listed. I asked if it had any rust or issues with the clear coat. He assured me it didn’t have either but did tell me about a spot of bondo on the front driver’s fender above the headlight. He said he didn’t have any cars with rust in his inventory. I drove 6 hours on 7/13/19 to see it (3 each way). Within seconds of inspecting the car I identified numerous spots of rust that were bubbling up under the paint.
