Skilled, compassionate and thorough, Dr. Gorensek is an amazing doctor. Although she is always busy and you may on occasion have to wait a bit, the wait is well worth it. She is recognized as a top doctor by her colleagues and patients. Consider yourself fortunate if you are able to have her as your doctor.
Dr. Gorensek is a wonderful, compassionate and professional doctor. Her office's team are courteous and friendly. Although very busy and sometimes delayed she always takes the time to understand your concerns.
Admitted to hospital with excruciating back pains. The orthopedics nor the neurosurgeons could find a cause so Dr. Gorensek went to work like Sherlock Holmes looking for the culprit. She found and identified the bacterial infection and prescribed the proper treatment. What more could I ask for?
Knowledge Caring Just a Great Person who is an A+++ Doctor
The doctor may be great. She came referred by another doctor. Carol, at her office is lovely and did her best but the other staff members are horrible. Could never get an appointment to see the doctor after 3 weeks of trying. No regard for my time or my PCP's time. Training is needed. Moved on to another doctor despite Carol's good faith attempts to assist.
I don't recommend this doctor based on the following : - She stated to me that Amoxicillin is not a broad spectrum antibiotic (!?!?). - She misinterpreted my father's blood test results stating that the white blood cell count was low ( which is usually due to a viral infection, sometimes even due to cancer). After I've asked for a copy of the results and read them , I saw that the red blood count was low ( which means : Anemia). Neglectful misdiagnosis. For your safety, get a second opinion.
Admitted to Holy Cross Hospital w/pneumonia. Saw her 3x for a total of 10 minutes = $526! I was allergic to a treatment, which she said should be discontinued yet someone showed up every night to give me the same treatment. I refused a CT Scan (for certain reasons) but the next day was intimidated to do one by staff workers on her behalf. It came back negative like I knew it would. I receive a bill from her every month even though my insurance company has asked her 4x to submit it to them. sigh
After months of frustration in finding out what was causing my lack of energy, I was fortunate enough to find Dr. Gorensek. She was exceptionally thorough in doing my initial workup, including giving me orders for blood studies that required 10 vials of blood. She found that, while I may have had a relapse of Epstein-Barr, my current issue was a B-12 deficiency. She treated me as a person and not just as a bundle of symptoms.
Dr. Margaret Gorensek is the kindest Dr. I have seen in sometime, she is also brilliant!
