Gopher to take care of my sprinkler system ok. This is a family company that replaced the same pricy pump 2 winters in a row. They'd offer services like mulching and tell me it's my fault that my back yard gate was not wide enough for the mulcher. Then, to aerated my lawn My sprinklers needed to be marked. BEWARE THAT SOMEONE IS TAKING SNIPPETS OUT OF REVIEWS AND APPLYING THEM TO THE GOPHER WEBSITE TO MISLEAD PEOPLE TO THINK THEY ARE AWESOME. AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS REVIEW I MENTIONED THAT BEFORE MERGING WITH LIPETSKY I NEVER HAD A PROBLEM AND HAD COMPETENT SERVICE. “Never had an issue and always had great and competent service” WAS SNIPPED AND PUT ON THE REVIEW PAGE. Ever since Lipetzky merged with Gopher the service has tanked. I pay them over $200 a year, which is supposed to include startup with inspection and blowout. At least twice now they have missed obvious problems on startup and the last straw was when I noticed a problem that should have been noticed on startup of one of the stations nozzles not coming up high enough. I couldn't be more disappointed in the way Gopher Irrigation handles their clients. I'm a little surprised they are still in business to be honest. My husband and I received a quote in early August for a sprinkler system at our home, signed the contract, and submitted our deposit. We were told at that time that they were running 2 weeks out on jobs. Well, over 3 months later, we still didn't have a sprinkler system, we weren't even on their schedule. Closed down all our valves on our irrigation system last fall so the trapped frozen water had nowhere to go and had to replace this spring. Great customer service however and usually can get the job done in a timely manner
