We loved the campground. Roomy lots and right on the water. Beautiful and quiet. We enjoyed our dinner at The Docks and the live music as well.
Love this place! It is a bit of a drive for us but we’ll worth the trip!
The real deal. Course is challenging, but playable. Best greens of any course in the greater Huntsville area to include the RTJ area courses. Open country with great views of the surrounding area. If travel takes you to Huntsville, make it a point to run over to Scottsboro and play a round here. On the way back swing into Mary's Pit BBQ in Gurley.
The campground is wonderful!! We had a great experience at The Docks restaurant last night. Tonight not so much. Made a 5pm reservation and was told at 5:50 "so here's the deal, I have this table reserved at 6:30" we understand that, ordered last drink and the bill, planning to watch the time, but she came back at 6:10 took the book and said sorry to run you off. Thanks... Great night.
I love fishing under the little bridge during the day, and from the docs at night.
We had a beautiful spot right on the water with NO neighbors. That makes it more special!! And cable TV!! We didn’t stay long enough!!
