My experience with this accounting firm was a complete disaster. Despite hiring them well in advance of the tax deadline, they failed to complete my taxes on time. As a result, I was hit with penalties and interest charges from the IRS. Not only did the firm fail to meet the deadline, but their communication throughout the process was poor. Long overdue review. We had been using Goodsell for almost ten years to handle our tax preparation. Last year, we had several errors that were found on our two previous years returns by the IRS. When brought up with Goodsell there was very little accountability and zero apology for their errors. The owner of the business even joked about the situation. It's unfortunate situation that could been handled much better with adequate customer service and some seriousness. We won't be returning.
Had a 1099-G question involving family leave questions. Took the time to look. Took the time to give me the answers he felt were best based off what he sees. Really polite and kind. THIS is the person I'd want to represent my finances to any outside party and the person I'd want to work with. A+ for customer service first thing on a Monday no less.
I don't like giving bad reviews. But this is way more important than rating restaurants. This review is long overdue, but I sold my coffee stand in 2017. Like many small business owners I LOATHE figuring out taxes and that's why I wanted someone to do it for me. I asked them if they would let me know any questions they had about all expense details and they said they would.
