I was a patient of his for years and if he had bothered to do something so basic as a PHQ-9 he would have realized that not only was his prescribed treatment, his self declared favorite drug, Wellbutrin, cause a reaction that worsened my symptoms. Instead I endured years of suffering because he did not use any objective metrics to quantify treatment.

I had one appointment with Dr. Goodman, during the session he stated with overwhelming pleasure that he “ Has had many arguments with physicians from UCLA!” His way or the highway, as he stated! He requested records from all of my medical records/specialists and then never followed up with a phone call! Nearly 4 weeks later Susie, (office staff) Proceeds to charge my credit card on file! Absolutely do not entrust your mental health to Jory Goodman. I trusted him with a suicidal family member, and regret it.

“Dr.” Goodman was incredibly rude, insensitive, and disrespectful. He would shout at me as I was in recovery. Nurses had to keep him from me. He even bragged about physical his past physical confrontations. His medication did not work either. DO NOT see this man.
