Our Story The Goodman family has been in the glazing industry in a few forms spanning 3 generations over 80 years in the great state of South Carolina. Most notably the flagship CB Goodman Glass Company in Orangeburg SC was in operation for over 65 years. We own and operate Specialty Woodworks and ordered a custom silvered antique mirror for the Dewberry Hotel in Charleston. We gave them a 50% deposit on August 8th. We have received excuse after excuse and still haven't received our ordered mirror. I would not recommend these people. One star is one too many!
Paul arrived promptly at the promised time and was very courteous- a true southern gentleman. He came in to access the project and did the messy work outside (cleaning & attaching the screw fasteners) and then placed the glass top on my art table , secured and cleaned it. He was in and out in under half hour. Certainly better than buying a whole new table.

My initial contact with Bennett was positive. I dropped off my item for repair at his shop and was told it would take about 2 weeks. After a month and multiple attempts to get a status update, Bennett never replied. It seemed like he was purposely dodging my attempts to reach him, and as it turns out, he was! I finally had to show up at his shop to retrieve the item that was never repaired.
