I began to see Dr Goodman in 2016 when I was in graduate school. I was close to flunking out at the time. I was taking medication for Adult ADD and it wasn't helping. The medical professionals including the psychiatrists and pharmacies in these parts are judgemental and know practically nothing. He’s the Man!
I have been seeing him for 4 years, I was in college during this time and accommodated me even though I was in a different state for most of the time. I had to try some forms of care before I found one that worked. Highly recommend Dr. Goodman, he truly cares about his patients and helped me immensely.
I’ve been seeing Dr. Goodman for over 16 years for my AD/HD. He’s low key and calm. He’s very knowledgeable. I appreciate his sense of humor. He’s really helped me get a handle on my AD/HD. I would highly recommend him.
Took great care of me. Easy to make appt. Works around your schedule. Always feel like he is taking great care of you and has your best interests in mind.
Incredibly knowledgeable and is familiar with both new and old medication. He does not take insurance but it’s worth the cost to see the best of the best! He is a great doctor!
I have been aware of my ADD ( and other mental health issues ). In the last 2 years, however, prescribed medication became less and less effective. It seemed as though my physician and psychiatrist were not listening or asking the right questions. I nearly gave up on medical professionals altogether. I drove 5 hours one way to see Dr Goodman for the first time Friday. He is empathetic, and extremely knowledgeable about ADD and much more. I have hope now and a new psychiatrist ;-)
After many failed appointments with other psychiatrists in my area, I had my first appointment with Dr. Goodman in 2001. He was able to get me on the right medication and stable for many years. I travel 2 hours to see him and after 15 years - I would not trust anyone else with my mental health care. He is thorough and truly cares about his patients.
To remain vague but accent his performance, this gentleman diagnosed things about me that I was unaware of at 19 and may never have dealt with. He was the first Psychiatrist, I see the second still,to set me on a course that has allowed me a much better life.
