I can no longer recommend goodlife until they fix the app that they require you to have to access the gym in non staffed hours ie after 8:00pm (7:00pm on Friday). Too many people not able to get into the gym because the app doesn't work, while they employ a security guard, not to help when the app doesn't work but to make sure people can't get in when the app doesn't work.
It is very good and I enjoy the gym, although other people have seen that it is rather busy at peak hour, and it can be difficult to get machines. So if it was bigger...
Yeerongpilly Goodlife sucks. Poor attitude of staff when you visit, actively do their utmost to avoid having an interaction with you. Just go after hours? Good luck getting into the gym at all. I spent several minutes trying to scan in through the app on my phone using the external card reader and it would not recognise my phone at all. Also had this experience with the internal card readers several times during staffed hours and have watched others struggle the same. Welcome to the gym where the only thing heavier than the weights is the attitude at reception. Walk in and prepare to be thoroughly ignored—unless you count the thrilling sound of staff gossiping with each other while avoiding eye contact like it's cardio. Smiles? Greetings?
