I’ve generally enjoyed being a Goodlife member in the past, but my experience at the Yeerongpilly club has been disappointing. The gym feels far too busy for the size of the space, with overcrowding on both the floor and machines. It often feels like you can’t move freely or you’re waiting around for equipment, which makes workouts frustrating. Goodlife really shouldn’t be signing up so many new members without the capacity to support them.

I originally left a negative review because the gym advertised a 7-day free trial, but when I asked for it, I was told it wasn’t available, with no clear explanation. The staff seemed unprofessional and unaware of their own promotion. However, after my complaint, the manager personally called me and granted me the 7-day free trial, resolving the issue. I appreciate that it was finally sorted out, though I believe clearer communication from the start would prevent these misunderstandings.

Enjoying the Reformer Pilates sessions at Goodlife. Lots of times to choose from and great instructors who help you at all stages of learning from beginner all the way through to experienced.

This gym engages in false advertising. They promote a “7-day free trial” everywhere in their facilities, yet when I asked for it, I was told that nobody is allowed to use it—without any explanation other than “because it is what it is” The staff showed a complete lack of professionalism and seemed unaware (or unwilling to acknowledge) their own promotion, constantly contradicting themselves.
