Seven years ago I came to Goodlette Arms and filled out an application to live here. I wanted a home where I would be safe. I prayed that I would be accepted. Little did I realize that my prayers would not only be answered but my dreams fulfilled. I have a lovely efficiency apartment on the 4th floor with hardwood floors, a kitchen with new appliances, many cabinets and drawers. A bathroom with a walk in shower and handicapped rails. My wife and I went to Goodlette Arms to apply for an apartment. The person who assisted us—a woman named Judith—treated us with complete indifference, showing absolutely no courtesy or kindness. We felt deeply upset; we are elderly people who went there seeking housing assistance, yet we were made to feel as though we were homeless.
There are significant issues with these 2 old buildings. Water, sewage, electrical for starters. They do not have an active online presence that works consistently and nor do they have a community outreach program for questions and concerns for their residents nor an English speaking community. On a regular basis you can count on the elevators being inoperable; the laundry machines are either "off line" or not working. Goodlette Arms la administración de la comunidad puso a mi Papa LINO GONZALEZ en desalojo que tuvieron que irse del apartamento en Enero 30/2026 porque según la administración mala conducta de mi Papa y quejas de los vecinos que mi Papa se mantenía fumando, la administración no tuvo piedad con LINO GONZALEZ quien se encuentra en un estado critico de salud con 81 anos de edad lo sacaron, en realidad la verdadera razón fue que es una venganza que tomaron ya que según muchos residentes ahi, mandaron de la oficina a matar a los ... read more
