VERY Disappointed. WE had dinner at Goodfellas on a wonderful vacation on Mackinac Island. the food at Goodfellas was good, the service was horrible and I have never in my life encountered such a rude waiter, not to mention he overcharged us almost $20 ,,from reading other reviews I see I'm not the first to have this happen.
My husband and I visited for the first time last weekend. It was our twelfth wedding anniversary:)! We stayed at the Lakeview and Goodfellows was our restaurant "home base". Everyone on the mothership:) was fantastic! The food was delicious and spot on every time. We ate there a total of three times! The service is a work in progress. But with a little patience and humor, everything worked out very well!!
Food was good. Not a lot of flavor but just enough that the food was still good. Was nice to sit out on the balcony and watch the horses go by. :)
Best, freshest restaurant on Mackinac Island!! Always the freshest ingredients and best service you can ask for on the island. The chef really cares about his plate, the love shows on each plate sent out!!!
