Tim was one of the most pleasant people I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with! He actually helped me, and told me to take my time, rather than push me to make a hasty decision. His crew did a very nice job repairing my car, and they gave me a great warranty. They definitely restored my faith in auto repair shops. A+
I highly recommend them. My car was finished in a timely manner. The price was good, and they seem to do good work. Most importantly, I felt as though they treated me well. They never talked down to me because I am a woman, but instead made me feel comfortable, and I like that. If your a woman and have ever been to a repair shop, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. I wish they did other repairs besides transmissions, that way I'd never have to go any place else. Very good service. Fast, friendly, and honest. Tim gave me options and let me choose whats best for me. He actually encouraged me to go the less expensive route, because I told him I was'nt planning on keeping the car for more than one more year. They had my car ready just when they said they would. My Explorer actually drives better now than it did, even before the transmission went bad. Highly recommended. Many thanks.
I went to Toyota and was quoted $6000 for a rebuilt transmission. Gooddeal did it for less than half of that and did a great job. I was very impressed with the honesty and integrity of John and Tim. I would recommend to all.
I was told it could be $2500 worse case, but could possibly be less? But I would have to spend about $600 labor to take it apart & find out first? Something about a sealed case? Anyway, I was anticipating a call the next day saying $2,500, but was certainly suprised when Tim called & said "Look, we can replace yours for $2,500 as mentioned, but we can also rebuild your existing transmission for about $1,600 with a year warrenty, so why spend the extra $900.00"? Good price, great warranty, and a happy ending to a bad situation. My transmission drives like new! Now I know why they call themselves GOODEAL!
Another local shop quoted me a price of $4,200.00 to replace my transmission. Goodeal Transmissions did it for $1,995.00 with a 3 year warranty. I took my car in on a wednesday and had it back for the weekend. My car drives like new again, and I saved alot of money. Now I know why they call themselves good deal? If you need a transmission, they are the place to go.
