Super knowledgeable and nice guy
If this guy has the part, he will get it for you off an old appliance, super cheap and reasonable. He is older now and still very busy. His yard is a boon to the DIY community. I recommend trying good stuff before buying new parts

Great place to find random things, washers, dryers, old electronics, some antiques (if your willing to look for it) and he prices it cheap! as an example - I had my shower hose break and I was really broke then, I didn't want to buy the whole kit at the hardware store. Bill sold me the thing for $2. It still works. lots of random parts sold here.
