Largely unresponsive. Very little preventative measures are taken in this small building. There are only two people we can identify as keeping this building from becoming a complete shambles: the individual who cleans public areas and manages the onslaught of daily garbage is wonderful and very reliable and Luis who is our go-to for problems, such as with our elevator, our garage door and snow removal. I recently had a frustrating experience with Good Steward Building Management (GSBM) after purchasing a new unit. About a week ago, I left a message with GSBM to get my phone number added to the building's gate access system, but I never received a callback. When I followed up, I discovered that they had incorrectly listed my lawyer's phone number for gate access--something that makes no sense. Why should I need my lawyer to buzz me in? Honestly, I think it’s ridiculous that I even have to give them one star to give the world a fair warning of how incompetent this company is. I would avoid them at all cost, especially if you are a renter as it is evident that they do not see the importance of maintaining people’s housing, a basic human right. I called GSBM more than a week ago to let them know that we were having draining issues in kitchen, specifically the kitchen sink not draining and the dishwasher draining into the kitchen sink.
