RecommendedThere is no comparison between Good Shepherd Nursing Home and any other long-term care facility in this area. The loving care of the nursing staff and the innovation of the Activities Department are unequaled anywhere. In this wonderful environment, my mother is flourishing and happier than she has been in years! I can never fully express my gratitude.
my family and I had used Good Shepard back in 2007. we admitted my mother there. We were so impresed with everything they did for my mother. she was in the Dementia floor. every deptartment we dealt with was fantastic. They made us feel like family. Sadly, mom passed in Dec of 2007. would recommend you in a heartbeat.

Great Nurses and they give excellent care to their patients
Like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz said... there’s no place like home. Trust me, there is no place like Good Shepherd. I worked there as the Activity Director for close to 5 years. I got married & left Wheeling & moved to Dayton. My grandmother was a resident there, my Dad was a resident there for 8 months & my son is there now for rehab. There are no words to describe the administrator, Don Kirsch & his warm & caring staff. They make a difference in the lives of many residents. AMEN�
