I recently took my son to the emergency room here. I cannot complain. When we got there, there were only two people ahead of us in the lobby. I know there were more in the back in rooms already. We waited less than 10 minutes and we were in a room. Very quickly, they begin giving orders. Everything was moving really fast. Took my wife in needing stitches on her finger. The staff was excellent, Dr. Golden " stitched her finger". Dr. Patterson at Azalea in Tyler said Dr. Golden did a great job.
Pilipino Nurse at er told me I was next then left me waiting in er waiting room for over an hour. I was in 10/10 pain with spinal injury. We had to go to longview regional because nurse kept pushing me to back of waiting list. I will be reporting them to administration and state. I will not be back here. If I knew her name I would report her to board of nursing.
Nurse Diana(sorry if that's the wrong name) called to check in on me after my visit to the ER Wednesday late night. I have chronic pain and having issues with my right ankle. She understood me and made me feel not so alone. Often those like me with chronic pain and autoimmune conditions get labeled as addicts or "seeking" drugs but she told me her story and sympathized with me. She is the sweetest!! Hopefully I won't have to come back but if I do I'm sure my care will be great again.
