My mom was just here and truly a reflection of how the American healthcare system has failed seniors. Came in with onset of leg pain and swelling, getting discharged without any diagnostic imaging that is appropriate. If you love your family send them somewhere else they are begging for readmissions. No communication until they plan on DCing

If you have an emergency you are better off driving an extra 40 mins to stonybrook or 15 mins to southside instead of waiting 10 hours for a room here

Outstanding Care and Compassionate Team We are extremely grateful for the exceptional care our child received during surgery at this hospital. From admission to discharge, the entire medical team was professional, kind, and reassuring. Absolutely disgraceful. Had to release my dad against doctors advice and left. Amongst other things my dad soiled himself and nurse was notified. After 3 hours no one came to clean up my dad, that was the last straw and discharged my dad out.
