My Grandma was transported from the hospital to the Marley House to spend her last days. It was the perfect place for her. When I arrived she had the cutest grandma pajamas on, a flowered home made quilt, she looked so comfy and peaceful. She had a pretty, private room, huge French with a pretty view and patio. We had a Chaplain come by and asked if she could pray over my Grandma. The staff was so compassionate. I don't know what my family would have done without the dedicated staff at Marley House. They came to the hospital to evaluate my family member within twelve hours of our call, and fortunately the decision was to transport her to Marley House the next day. I can not overstate the relief that I felt that she would be receiving end of life care at Marley House. When your family member is in distress, and you really love them, turning away when they are in grave condition is not an option. The staff not only took care of the pa... read more

I have had excellent care here at Marley House even as my health improved. I highly recommend this facility to anyone needing their services .

Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience with Marley House. My step dad was diagnosed with terminal cancer. He was 81 years old. My mother is 80 years old. They accepted him into their care and we were hopeful that he would be cared for as his health was rapidly declining. During his stay he was visited once by a doctor and nurses rarely came to check and help my mom who was completely overwhelmed. They would not provide food or basics. It is with a full and smiling heart that I share my experiences of working with Good Samaritan Society-Marley House, specifically Kelly Paradis (Hospice Account Executive) and Heather Seets (Volunteer Coordinator). Recently, Kelly and Heather along with a Volunteer offered a Free Fall Portrait Event to our Residents at Granite Gate Senior Living Community.
