I've taken a great number of foster dogs here through Heartland Greyhound Adoption. Dr. Engel and staff have been nothing but wonderful, competent, and thorough. I've even begun taking my own pets to Good Sam for dentals/surgery, because I know they will get great care at an affordable rate.
Good Samaritan was willing to take my dog in on short notice for emergency surgery at an amazing price! Emilie not only was kind, friendly and patient with me (I was frantic), but she called back to check in to see if we needed to come in tomorrow. Love the follow-up! Thankfully we don't need their services after all but I sure will recommend them to all my friends!! A+++!!!

Great place, very nice staff. Good communication. My newly rescued chi had to have several teeth removed. They were very affordable and she had no issues. I highly recommend this place! Don't wait until it's too late for teeth cleaning.
They were very up-front about the cost of having a mass removed for my oldest cat. They were also very concerned about making sure I was comfortable with what it would entail. I am impressed with how caring & compassionate the staff was! The services available: various surgeries, dental cleanings & extraction, spay/neuter, are much more affordable than full service vets. I will take all of my animals to them & will be telling all of my pet parent friends.
I took in my three chihuahuas for dental cleaning and extractions today. The staff was amazing and my fur babies were taken care of like royalty. They gave me a very comprehensive explanation of everything! Thanks for all you do to provide affordable pet care. It's the most affordable place I could find and I was worried that the level of care would be lower due to that, but these people love and care about your pets! Simply amazing.
What a great place! 2nd time we've taken our dogs to have surgical procedures. Made sure we understood everything before and after procedure. Explained everything in terms we understood. Very clean facility. And affordable! Highly recommend!
