I woke up this morning just as pissed off as I was when I went to bed......all because of what I witnessed and heard at the Atrium Hospital! You won't believe the video I have of the 4th floor nurses, including Patty the Social worker, who bullied and treated an a blind eldery disabled mother and her son like they were trash! I am sick and tired of witnessing these nurses abuse these patients by kicking them when they are already down! I HAVE HAD ENOUGH AND IM TAKING MY VIDEO STRAIGHT TO A NEWS REPORTER!

This is far yet the worst experience..one I wasn't informed of my conditions, two when I wanted to sign myself out I was threatened with security and when I argued she couldn't do that she told me I could sign a DNR or go into hospice..she was bullying me and going against my patient rights..this was on the fourth floor ..I don't recommend this hospital to nobody
My experience at Atrium medical center hospital was Awsome!!, I received great care in the observation unit from the admission till discharge, doctors are very knowledgeable, caring & answered all my questions, nurses were great, the aides were Awsome one named Terry even fixed my call button. I had many tests done and received excellent care from everyone including transport. My experience was great and you can trust me because I worked in healthcare most of my life. First off i want to say dr smail, dr butler, doctor walsh are probably the only doctors that cares about their patients. But i am very disgusted with the staff of this entire hospital from the techs to nurses to the doctors by the way that they just totally ignore everything i said and did it to me anyways. I have had many surgeries in the past two years and each time i have to return to the 4th floor i get severe anxiety from the way the staff has treated me in the past.
