I would give minus stars if I could. The patient called the paramedics to take him to the hospital a sinus infection which made him not able to breathe well. The hospital decided after two days to move him to the psych ward, based on the premise that he was suicidal, not from his own words, but from a conversation with me on the phone. His hospital records show in black and white that he was not suicidal. They ask you a series of questions and every day his answers were consistently answered with a no, meaning he was not sui... read more

I would give it no stars if I could. Please do not send your loved ones here. The staff don’t listen to the patients, the doctors have egos, the social workers don’t know anything about medicine or even the hours, they’re just “interns”. Everyone in that hospital is doing the BARE minimum

The doctor and social worker were rude and abusive. I came in with depression after a brain injury. They told me I had multiple mental disorders I had never been diagnosed with before and that I needed electric shock therapy. They told me I was taking advantage of my parents. They placed me in a low bottom locked in psychiatric facility in Waukegan where I could not sign myself out.

My family member barely saw and/or ... read more

At least given one star for the babysitters. Where do I start 🤔🤨🧐. All personal belongings are taken away, served wrong food and on the toilet all day , do not order the meatloaf, was told could only use cell phone once to look up phone number (NO Searching for notification or email etc) They lost my car even though I told them EXACTLY where it was right where I told them initially. Informed them 5 days before hand. They finally found it 1 hour before discharge exactly where I told them it was. Lost wallet. Now I have to... read more
