I recently asked Good Guys for a quote to address some oversized breakers in my electrical panels. After reviewing a few photos of the system, they said it would be $7-8k to replace everything as it wasn’t up to Chicago or national code. I confirmed with them we didn’t have any other options as that price tag was surprising, and no previous electrician had said our overall system was an issue.
